TIERCE GREEN is a speaker, writer, and coach. He led over a thousand men each week for seven years in a seasonal gathering called The Quest in The Woodlands, Texas. He is on the teaching team of 33 The Series for Authentic Manhood which has reached over a million men around the world. 33 is a journey to authentic manhood as modeled by Jesus in his 33 years on earth. Tierce is now the Director of the Authentic Manhood Initiative which is building a global network of men reaching men with the timeless principles of biblical manhood. He travels extensively as a speaker and coach equipping the church as a whole to grow deep in their intimacy with God, community with believers, and influence with others.

Tierce has written leadership training content and other curriculum for LifeWay, Student Life and The North American Mission Board. He also created and produced a 12-session video series for men called Fight Club: Some Things Are Worth Fighting For. Fight Club has been adapted for use by the Mighty Oaks Warrior Programs helping military veterans in their battle with PTSD.

Tierce and his wife, Dana, have been married for 32 years. They have a 14-year-old daughter, Anna, and live in The Woodlands, TX.

Tierce has been a church staff pastor for three churches in over four decades of experience. The vast majority of this time has been invested in using his gift of communication as a speaker, writer, and coach for churches, organizations, conferences and retreats across the nation and around the world.

  • July 2013 to September 2018 – Associate Pastor at Church Project in The Woodlands, TX; Co-creator and presenter of 33 The Series for Authentic Manhood; Contributing writer of two blogs in 2017 for the Huffington Post: Metrosexual Jesus & Not Smart Enough to Fix This.

  • January 2006 to July 2013 – Executive Director of Small Groups and leader of The Quest for men at Woodlands Church in The Woodlands, TX; Co-creator and presenter of 33 The Series for Authentic Manhood.

  • September 1980 to January 2006 – Speaker, writer, songwriter & worship leader for Tierce Green Ministries and Fresh Bread Resources; Writer of curriculum and leadership training content for Lifeway, the North American Mission Board, and Student Life.

  • June 1978 to September 1980 – Pastor of Students at Edwards Road Baptist Church in Greenville, SC.


Tierce speaks for various groups and events from a few dozen in attendance to a few thousand. Because of the global reach of 33 The Series, many of the speaking events that he schedules are associated with groups who are exploring the principles of biblical manhood. He also speaks for general discipleship training events, conferences, retreats and church gatherings.
