These "Selfie Training Videos" were created by Tierce to equip House Church Pastors at Church Project in The Woodlands, TX. The principles are adaptable and transferable to other environments where the role and function of community group leaders is modeled after First Century House Church Pastors who meet the qualifications of pastors in Titus and Timothy. There is helpful coaching in these short sessions regarding the foundations of biblical community, leading a good discussion, praying, and identifying future leaders.

ESSENTIALS FOR SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT & LEADERSHIP

Compiled and created by Tierce Green, Trace Howard and Dave Edwards for Church Project in The Woodlands, TX. The framework in the first section was inspired and adapted from proven strategies used by Saddleback Church and North Point Community Church.

ESSENTIALS contains three main sections:

  • BASIC: Essentials for Spiritual Development & Influence (Tierce)
  • CORE: Essential Practices of Theology in Action (Trace)
  • ENGAGE: Pathways to Engage in Ministry Partnerships, House Church & One-on-One Discipleship (Tierce & Dave)

There is also a very useful section of Supplemental Content to support CORE called THEOLOGY 101: Essential Beliefs of the Christian Faith.

Some of the applications are specific to Church Project, in particular the pathways to engage, but most of the principles are applicable to anyone who wants to grow in their devotion to God, community with believers and influence with others.
